Save your children and your addresses once, and every job you post can reuse them with a tap. Sitters looking at your job see each child's age and needs, not their name, and your exact address only goes to the sitter you book.
Your children
Go to Me, then Children. You can also add a child from the Children step while posting a job, and they're saved for next time.
Add a child
-
Tap + add a child.
The Add a child screen opens. -
Fill in the details.
Only the birthday is required. The fields are listed below. -
Tap Save.
The child is added to your list. Save stays greyed out until there's a birthday.
| Field | Required? | What it's for |
|---|---|---|
| Name | No. The form says "Only visible to you". | So you can tell your children apart. Leave it blank and the app names the child from their age, such as "3 year old girl". A sitter you book sees the first name on your profile (see below). |
| Birthday | Yes. The form says "Only visible to you". | Works out the child's age, which sitters see. The date itself isn't shown in the sitter app. It can't be in the future. |
| Gender | Optional | Male or Female. Tap the selected one again to clear it. |
| Avatar | No | Pick a picture to stand in for the child. If you don't, the app picks one. |
| Specific needs | Optional | Tap any needs that apply. They show next to the child's age on your jobs. |
| Notes | Optional | "Share anything else you would like a sitter to know about this child..." Routines, allergies and favorite games all fit here. |
Edit or remove a child
Tap the pencil next to a child. Choose Edit to open the Edit Child screen, or Delete to remove them. Delete takes effect right away, with no second confirmation. Tap Cancel to close the menu.

Using children on a job
The Children step of posting lists your saved children. Tap each one who needs care, and use the pencil to change a child's details on the spot. Hiring for a group with no children of your own? Tap Hiring for a group? Skip this step. See Churches and groups.
Your locations
Go to Me, then Locations, or tap the location pill at the top of the Jobs tab. Your selected location is highlighted at the top of the list. The Sitters tab shows sitters near it.
Add a location
-
Tap + add a location.
A search field opens. -
Type the address and pick it from MATCHING LOCATIONS.
If the search result is a full street address, you go straight to the next step. -
Fill in anything that's missing.
If the address needs more, you'll see fields for Name, Address (street), Address (apt#), City, the state and Zip. Tap Continue. -
Add arrival notes.
Both are optional. See the table below. -
Tap Save.
The new location is saved and becomes your selected location.
| Arrival note | What to put |
|---|---|
| Parking instructions | "Where should the sitter park?" For example, the driveway or a street that's free after 6pm. |
| Meeting spot | Tap Front door or Back door, or tap Other and type it in: "Where should the sitter meet you?" |
Change, edit or delete a location
- Switch locations: tap a location in the list. It becomes your selected location.
- Edit arrival notes: tap the pencil next to a location, change the notes and tap Save.
- Delete: tap the pencil, then the ⋮ menu, then Delete location. Your selected location can't be deleted, so switch to another one first.
The street address itself can't be edited. To fix a typo, add the address again and delete the old one.
Using locations on a job
The location step of posting says "Where do you need care? Your address will only be shared with booked sitters." Your saved addresses are listed under MY LOCATIONS. Tap one, or search for a new one. The arrival notes come with it, and any changes you make to them while posting are saved to that address for next time.
Who sees your address
| Who | What they see |
|---|---|
| Sitters browsing or applying to your job | The job's approximate location, not the street address. |
| The sitter you book | The full address, parking instructions and meeting spot. |
Good to know
- No saved address yet? The Sitters tab searches around the zip code you gave when you signed up.
- A child with no name shows in your list by their age and gender, such as "3 year old girl".
- Groups don't need children. A job posted for a group has no children on it, and sitters don't see a children section.
Questions
Why does Wyndy need my child's birthday?
To show sitters the right age as your child grows. Sitters see the age, never the date itself.
Can a sitter see my child's name?
Only a sitter you've booked. Once a booking is made (and not cancelled), that sitter sees each child's first name, age and needs in the Kids section of your profile. Other sitters see the age, gender, needs, notes and avatar on the job, without the name.
I moved. How do I update my address?
Add the new address under Me, then Locations. It becomes your selected location, and then you can delete the old one.
Can I post a job at someone else's house?
Yes. Add that address as a location and pick it on the location step when you post.
