I’m currently a student at Drake University, pursuing my undergraduate degree in Strategic Political Communication with plans to attend law school after graduation. I also study Music, Law and Business, and Spanish, areas that reflect my wide range of interests and help me connect with people in meaningful and creative ways. I’ve always loved building strong relationships with others, which is part of what draws me to both law and working with children. I come from a big family with four siblings, so I’ve been around kids my whole life, and I’ve been caring for kids since my second year of high school, when I started babysitting for family friends. This year studied abroad in Spain, which was an incredible opportunity to experience new cultures, practice my Spanish, and grow more independent and open-minded.
