I am currently attending Iowa Central and working towards becoming a Certified Medical Assistant. I am CPR certified as well. I have 5 nieces and 2 nephews ranging from 1-12 years old so I am great with kids of all ages. I also currently help coach the Iowa Central softball team after playing for them the last 2 years.

Hi I am Maggie. I started baby sitting in middle school. My parents would go on double dates with friends. I would watch my brother, and their daughter and son. Their son had autism but the 2 of us had a special bond. I also started baby sitting for a family in high school that had 3 kids. Twins who were between 3-4 and their brother who was 5-6. I baby sat and nannied for them until I started college. We went to adventureland and princess tea parties. They are in 6th and 8th grade now. I also baby sit for a family with 3 boys when I started with them there were only 2. The boys were very shy when I met them and had a hard time being left with a baby sitter. They ask there mom all the time now for me to come play including the youngest who was only a few months old when I started watching him. I have worked for Cadence Academy Preschool in Urbandale. I was a multi age teacher. I worked with infants all the way up to 5 year olds currently. I loved all of my classrooms but one of favorites was my infantclassroom. In the mornings if I was not hanging out with the toddlers you could find me giving teachers planning time or restroom breaks. In the afternoons you would find me hanging out with the babies. I love working with kids. If one of the primary infant teachers was gone my infant teachers would request for me to be in that classroom. Iworked for Cadence for 3 years. I have most recently been nannying for a family with 3 boys. Though they decided to send the boys back to daycare now. I completely understand why they needed to do it. I still ended on a good note with that family. I currently work for Ankeny Community School District in Nutrition services.I have child and infant CPR/First Aid as well as adult CPR/First Aid. I also have Play training given to us by the Iowa AEYC. I have essentials child care training and universal precautions training. On the weekends usually I am hanging out with mydog a 1 year old terrier mix named Tank. I also volunteer at church with the kids programs. I was a Girl Scout until I graduated high school. I also love baking and trying out new recipes. I currently work at Abbie Grove elementary in ankeny but that is only during the school year. I can't wait to meet you guys!
