Hello, my name is Kai! I go by they/them pronouns. I would say I engage more with kids as a mentor rather than a sitter. I love kiddos and hope to work with them in an environment mostly clean of screens. I believe in engaging kids in other activities, especially nature connection work and art. I am neurodivergent, and grew up with an ADHD diagnosis. I have some experience with kids with ADHD and also know what it’s like within my own body and experience.Some things about me are that I am very curious and inquisitive, serious yet playful, very communicative and passionate. I love to create a well-rounded experience that includes consent work, and self-advocacy work into the time I spend with kiddos. In addition, I like to build a report of thoughtful and kind communication.I love being outside, playing in the woods, connecting to my own inner child, crafting and art, dancing, and moving. I am currently looking for work and am in school doing movement and language studies.I am looking to work with the parents just as I work with their kiddo(s). Hi, I am happy to be able to help take care of any questions or concerns you may have about me! I completed a CPR course as recent as last year which was part of a high school course(infants and children). I was homeschooled up until grade 10 so I can handle either dynamic of schooling if assistance is also needed there.I love crafting (crocheting, sticker making or colouring books), scheduling activities outside or in, helping with homework, and most importantly making sure kids are safe and secure.
