About Maddison

Hello, my name is Kai! I go by they/them pronouns. I would say I engage more with kids as a mentor rather than a sitter. I love kiddos and hope to work with them in an environment mostly clean of screens. I believe in engaging kids in other activities, especially nature connection work and art. I am neurodivergent, and grew up with an ADHD diagnosis. I have some experience with kids with ADHD and also know what it’s like within my own body and experience. Some things about me are that I am very curious and inquisitive, serious yet playful, very communicative and passionate. I love to create a well-rounded experience that includes consent work, and self-advocacy work into the time I spend with kiddos. In addition, I like to build a report of thoughtful and kind communication. I love being outside, playing in the woods, connecting to my own inner child, crafting and art, dancing, and moving. I am currently looking for work and am in school doing movement and language studies. I am looking to work with the parents just as I work with their kiddo(s). I would love to give reports of what we did, things I notice over time, and ways to meet the needs of the kiddos I work with. If you hire me, I will work my best to meet your kids needs, work with you in your own desires for your kiddo, and build a relationship on trust and communication.
