Growing up as the middle child with seven sisters and three brothers, I’ve been taking care of children for basically my entire life, along with a few babysitting jobs here and there. Currently in school for civil engineering (this is my second career!). I previously taught 3rd grade for 3 years, but I have had experience teaching other grade levels and ages from infants to fifth grade! I love teaching, but engineering is my passion! I love playing with kids and have a lot of experience babysitting. I nannied for all 5 years during college and babysat as well during my free time. I am a UAB kinesiology graduate pursing a masters degree in occupational therapy. In my free time I love to play volleyball and go to the gym. Over the past 5 years I have picked up the hobby of baking. Anything that says adventure I’m all for it, I love exploring and outdoor nature. I have a 4 year old shih tzu and we go hiking when the weather is nice. I have been babysitting for 9years and in this job I love to allow children to be creative and express themselves.I love coming up with things to do that pushes kids to use their imagination and cognitive skills to grow and learn.
