I am 21 and currently work at UAB hospital as a Patient Care Tech, and at Children’s of Alabama as a Clinical Assistant💌 I have taken care of kids of all ages at my job, and I enjoy babysitting in my free time before I start Physician Assistant school! I am a current University of Alabama at Birmingham undergraduate senior majoring in Kinesiology. I have 2 younger siblings and always tell people I’ve been taking care of kids all my life! I have lots of childcare experience with my previous job as a CrossFit childcare supervisor where I took care of 2-11 kids of any age 2x a week, and I have babysat multiple times and sometimes overnight for neighbors, family, and friends. I have also participated as a volunteer at multiple summer camps with children of various disabilities and learning challenges at Lakeshore Foundation. I am comfortable with any pets, and I am happy to feed/take care of them on the job as well. I can cook, feed, change, help with homework, and I enjoy having creative activities with kids. Hi! Thank you so much for giving my profile a look! I am Niki, a current dental student at University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Dentistry. I graduated from University of Georgia in 2022 where I majored in chemistry!I have always had a love for kids! I truly enjoy interacting with children of all ages because I just adore each phase of childhood :)I have the most experience caring for infants/toddlers and always have the best time encouraging their creativity as we play! Their experience as we play is very important to me because I believe interactive sessions can make a lasting impression on them as they grow. With older children, I love getting to talk to them about their day, what passions they have, and what their future dreams are! I aim to be more than just a random babysitter. In school, I get so excited any time we get a chance to work with the pediatric population, which aligns with my passion for babysitting! My husband Joe is a current Master’s student, and he and I are high school sweethearts! :) In our free time, we love anything and everything outdoors! We go mountainbiking almost every weekend and love hiking, kayaking, caving, and more! We also have two adorable cats, Hester and Luna, who are our family!!! I am a senior at UAB majoring in kinesiology to later become a licensed occupational therapist. In my free time I love to play volleyball and go to the gym. Over the past 3 years I have picked up the hobby of baking. Anything that says adventure I’m all for it, I love exploring and outdoor nature. I have a 1 year old shih tzu and we go hiking when the weather is nice. I have been babysitting for 7 years and in this job I love to allow children to be creative and express themselves.I love coming up with things to do that pushes kids to use their imagination and cognitive skills to grow and learn.
