Hi, I’m Kara! I’m a graduate student at UAB working toward my Doctorate in Occupational Therapy, with a strong passion for working with children. Before beginning OT school, I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Health Science from Samford University. I’ve been babysitting for over 10 years and have cared for kids of all ages, from infants to teenagers. Along with babysitting for local families, I’ve volunteered in children’s ministry, supported kids with diverse needs through therapy programs, and worked in pediatric clinical settings. These experiences have helped me develop patience, creativity, and a caring approach that makes kids feel safe and engaged. I’m also CPR certified and have a clean driving record. I am a college senior at UAB who would love to spend time with your children while you work, have a date night, or just run errands. I baby sat all through high school and have spent a lot of time running our church nursery! I am pursing a doctorate degree in physical therapy so plan to be in Birmingham for the next few years and have been active in both my sorority and various campus organizations in my four years here.
