I’m currently a Junior attending UAB and I have lots of love for kids. I currently work at Heritage Preschool at Liberty Park and it has been amazing! I’ve grown up being responsible for watching my four younger siblings who all have different personalities and needs. Currently in school for civil engineering (this is my second career!). I previously taught 3rd grade for 3 years, but I have had experience teaching other grade levels and ages from infants to fifth grade! I love teaching, but engineering is my passion! I love playing with kids and have a lot of experience babysitting. I nannied for all 5 years during college and babysat as well during my free time. I have ample experience in just about everything with every age up to 13! I have the most experience with children under 8, especially babies as I was an infant/toddler teacher at a daycare for 2 years. I look forward to meeting your family!

Hi, I'm Lydia! I’m a UAB freshman who truly loves being an "active" sitter. I have plenty of experience managing groups of up to four kids (ages 4–11), and I’m more than happy to handle everything from mealtime to the bedtime routine.
