About Rachael
Hi, I’m Rachael! I’m an elementary school ESL (English as a Second Language) teacher with years of experience working with children in both educational and childcare settings. I have a bachelor’s degree in Spanish from UAB and I’m currently in graduate school earning my master’s in ESL education from UAB. I’ve babysat for families with children of all ages - including newborns. I have also worked in several church nurseries and childcare programs. In addition to my professional experience, I’m also a mom of two: my daughter is 8 and my son is 6. I understand how important it is to find someone you trust with your children, and I always strive to create a safe, caring, and engaging environment :) I’m dependable, patient, and great with routines. Best babysitter I’ve ever had. Having another mom as a babysitter was so comforting and took the work out of explaining anything. We were absolutely blown away by how much she went above and beyond just babysitting. The house was totally picked up and the dishes were even washed. Rachel cared for our 1 year old for an entire day, over 12 hours. So she took care of meals, naps, bath, everything perfectly. She’s also so sweet and easy to talk to. Can’t say enough great things about Rachel.
