I am an energetic, caring, fun, and responsible person with a passion for working with children! I'm a Teacher's Assistant at a Montessori school. When I'm not working, I like doing anything creative (like crocheting and making bracelets), traveling and exploring. I have about seven years of experience with all ages and kids who are neurodiverse. I have experience in almost every setting from tutoring in school to camp counseling. I'm great with kids that may have separation anxiety from their parents and may not be used to/comfortable with a new face in the house.I'm willing and able to help with transportation of kids, light housekeeping (such as laundry, dished, etc.), cooking, homework, family outings at amusement parks and attractions, and overnight sitting.

Hi, my name is Leah and I currently work as an IT for a private company. I'll be transitioning into school soon so I wanted an opportunity to make a little extra money as I cut back on my hours at my regular job. I've always enjoyed working with children although I'm convinced I don't want any of my own. I'm the oldest in my family so I'm accustomed to all things involving younger children seeing as I have four younger siblings. I always express a great attention to detail and believe I have excellent patience when it comes to children (it's highly needed I know). I can be pretty outgoing but I also enjoy a good book, watching anime, or just exploring new things. My goal is to help families out while also moving towards my own personal goals! I look forward to hopefully make a positive impact in someone's home.

Being an educator is my greatest passion! From being a lead preschool teacher to substituting grade school students, I am able to work with all ages and adapt to the children I am working with. I went to school for early childhood education and was granted my TCC from Southern Crescent Technical College. I am currently in a position in life where I am now a business owner with my own storefront, which has made it difficult to be back in a regular classroom setting. I am most qualified for positions where I can utilize my experience and education in childcare so I'm looking to explore new opportunities!
