Hi! My name is Arlene. I’m originally from El Paso, TX and been living in Nashville for 9 years now. I am a Spanish teacher and have experience working with grades K-8. I attend Church of Christ activities some Saturday mornings and service Sunday mornings. I’m around children for a good majority of time and enjoy it. For fun, I like to hike, swim and spend time outdoors.

I am a college student who loves children and taking care of them. I do need to make some extra money right now since times are tough.

I have experience working with kids ranging from 3 years old to 13 years old!I enjoy participating in engaging activities.

I have over 10 years of experience providing childcare for my sister’s children and family friends, along with 5 years of professional experience working as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). In my role as an RBT, I primarily work with children on the autism spectrum, which has provided me with extensive experience supporting children’s individual needs, communication styles, behaviors, and developmental goals.Through both my personal and professional experience, I have developed strong patience, attentiveness, and the ability to create a safe, supportive, and engaging environment for children. I understand the responsibilities and expectations involved in caring for children, including maintaining routines, providing supervision, encouraging positive behaviors, and responding appropriately to each child’s unique needs.
