About Wendy

I am an experienced educator with a strong background in both teaching and childcare. Over the years, I have taught English, computer science, and Chinese at various grade levels, and I also directed my own daycare and preschool for nearly a decade, where I created age-appropriate lesson plans and cared for children from infancy to preschool age. Currently, I serve as a substitute teacher with the Folsom Cordova School District, ensuring a smooth learning environment in the absence of regular teachers. With dual degrees in Hotel & Restaurant Management and Management Information Systems, a Post-Graduate Diploma in Education, and fluency in both English and Cantonese, I bring versatility, cultural awareness, and a passion for helping children learn and grow. My goal is not only to supervise kids but also to support them academically, while providing fun and engaging activities such as arts, crafts, and enrichment after school.
