About Alisa

I am a recent high school graduate and will be attending Emory University this fall for my bachelors in Business Administration, and as a student athlete part of their varsity swim team. I have extensive experience working with children of various ages and abilities through my roles as a swim instructor and tutor. As a swim instructor, I have worked primarily with children ages 3–10, helping them build water safety skills, gain confidence in themselves, and enjoy their time in the pool through engaging drills, games, and positive encouragement. I also have experience taking care of family members, both kids and seniors, and have worked nine hour days at summer camp taking care of school-aged children. Additionally, I have a year of experience tutoring children with special needs, where I utilize patience, adaptability, and strong communication skills while supporting their individual learning needs. I truly enjoy spending time with children and creating a safe, fun, and supportive environment where they feel cared for, which is why I love babysitting jobs. Taking care of children is something I have a true passion for, and I take every job very seriously. As an eighteen year old I can match your child’s playful energy, I have fast reflexes & am able to keep up, while also being responsible and reliable. - I have previous certifications from my sophomore year of high school in both First Aid and CPR, although not yet renewed. - The next month I am free every single day and all hours of the day, so my schedule can accomodate any family's needs. I am willing to come early in the morning and stay as late as you need me. - I am fluent in Mandarin Chinese for any children who speak it. - I have my own car and can drive wherever needed. - Have lots of experience engaging children in learning and playtime through my previous work. I absolutely love taking care of children, and I would show up to this job excited and ready every single day!
