About Jaylene

I am a Pre- Dental Student at the University of Pacific. I love anything arts & crafts related and enjoy going on walks/hikes. Some great qualities of mine are that I am responsible, fast learner and enthusiastic. In the past few years I have baby sat family members and family friends. I am bilingual so for one family when I baby sit I am asked to speak in Spanish only. Personally, my family is huge so I have cousins of all sorts of ages who I have taken care of. Making meals/snacks and playing games with them is something I enjoy. This past school year I was apart of College Corps. Which is a program where your serve 450 hours or more at the site you are assigned, once completed a scholarship is awarded. The site I was assigned was an after school program where we helped students with homework and gave them guidance as well if behavioral issues were happening. I spent about 24 hours weekly with students weekly helping them out. I got the chance to work with each grade from kinder-sixth grade. This gave me more knowledge and confidence when working with students/ children. Feel free to reach out to me if any questions pop up!
