Dani is an experienced toddler teacher and outdoor educator. She spent the last 2 years working at an all-outdoor toddler care center in California, and loves combining her experience in horticulture with nature education for littles. Dani is passionate about using the RIE philosophy in her work, emphasized on seeing each child as an individual who is capable, freethinking, and deserving of respect. Before working at the Santa Cruz Toddler Care Center, Dani worked at the San Francisco Botanical Garden and Filoli Historic House and Garden as an educator and horticulturist. In her free time Dani loves painting, drawing, and ceramics, as well as hiking with her dog Rocco, or cooking a meal with her partner Rozene.
