Caring for children has always been something I genuinely enjoy. I have over seven years of experience working with children of all ages, from newborns to teenagers, and I love building meaningful relationships with the families I work with. Every child is unique, and I strive to create a safe, loving, and fun environment where they feel comfortable, supported, and encouraged to grow.Throughout the years, I have cared for infants by preparing bottles, changing diapers, following feeding and nap schedules, and providing attentive, nurturing care. With toddlers and older children, I enjoy planning creative activities, helping with homework, preparing healthy meals and snacks, encouraging outdoor play, and maintaining consistent daily routines. I also assist with light housekeeping related to childcare, including tidying play areas, washing bottles and dishes, and children’s laundry.I pride myself on being patient, dependable, and attentive, and I understand the importance of earning a family’s trust. I have been a baby sitter for my siblings since I was young. I work at a summer camp during the summer and although that was not directly childcare I was a lifeguard and have knowledge of the tendency’s of different age groups in a less structured setting. I also worked in the kiddie campus preschool at WACC for a school year learning about childcare from birth to preschool age. I have interned in a school setting with jr high music. And had to be in chargeof the class a few times.
