Hi! I’m Arion Jones, a senior at Tennessee State University and I’ve been babysitting for about 3 years now. I’ve had the chance to work with kids of all ages, and I genuinely enjoy it whether it’s keeping toddlers entertained or helping older kids with homework. I love working with kids, and I’m currently studying nursing with plans to become a pediatric nurse. I finished my freshman year of college in May and then attended a 10-week school program in Hawaii starting in late August. I just returned and am looking for a nanny or babysitting jobs until I go back to Hawaii to continue school around March (late spring). I have been babysitting since 8th grade and continued throughout high school, including nannying during my senior year. I also babysat all throughout my freshman year of college. My main inspiration for this career path is that I want to be a child advocate for children in need. Sometimes they just need someone that will help them process their feelings. Currently, I’m a registered behavior technician (working with children with autism.) I also have experience with type 1 diabetes and overseeing insulin injections. My niece was diagnosed 7 years ago so I am quite educated when it comes to type 1 diabetics.

I moved not long ago from Memphis, TN. I quickly figured out that I’m surrounded by military bases none of which have Neonatal ICU’s and that’s what my 14 years of Nursing experience is in. I’m in between jobs and open to babysitting for anyone who might need that. I am BLS, PALS, NRP, ACLS certified (basic life support, pediatric advanced life support, neonatal resuscitation Programs, and Advanced Cardiac life support).
