Before beginning OT school, I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Health Science from Samford University. I’ve been babysitting for over 10 years and have cared for kids of all ages, from infants to teenagers. I have spent years (since I was 14 when I started volunteering at YMCA) caring for children from the ages of infant to 17 years old! My experience ranges from babysitting to summer camp to daycare teacher to youth pastor to travel nanny/live-in nanny to Foster Care Family Teacher! I now work for Samford’s School of the Arts as the event coordinator, the recruiting season is slowing down so I would love to start helping families that need an extra set of hands for the summer.I’ve nannied and babysat casually for many families in Birmingham over the past 2 1/2 years! I am a mom of a four year old girl who I have taken care of as a stay at home mom, and though she is starting school, and it is time for me to find work, I wanted to find something I could use both my passion of being a mom and kiddos paired with my Spanish and childcare background! I teach my kiddo all kinds of words, numbers, and Spanish through play based learning!
