Hi! I’m Anderson! I recently moved to Nashville to start law school at Belmont and I graduated from the University of Alabama in December, where I was a cheerleader! Since January, I’ve spent most of the spring and summer babysitting and have gotten a lot of hands-on experience caring for children ranging from 5 months old to 8 years old.Over the past several months, I’ve cared for babies, toddlers, and elementary-aged kids, so I’m comfortable adjusting to different ages, routines, and personalities. I really enjoy becoming someone the kids are excited to see while also being someone parents know they can trust and rely on. Hi! 👋🏾 I’m Devyn, but most people call me “Dev.” A few of my favorite things to do are going on nature walks, playing board games, shopping, and trying new foods. Most of my life, I’ve always had a desire to teach those around me. Growing up in school I would always offer to tutor my peers. Then, alongside that, I became a youth leader — a position I held for five years.During my time at UCI, I accepted a position to be a Program Leader at the company Think Together. Those two years of my life were truly remarkable. I had the opportunity to work with children ages four to fourteen on all different parts of life. From academics to life/societal skills and experiences, I was able to be a guide and walk them through hardships. It was nice knowing that I played a part in their growth and that I was not only a teacher, but a friend. 🤗I think when working with younger generations, it’s important to recognize how crucial it is to meet them where they are.
