Hi parents! Im new to this app and am hoping to be able to help you and your family. I graduated from Auburn University in August 2020 with a degree in Human Development and Family Studies. I moved up to Birmingham in February 2021 and started working for a non-profit organization called Magic Moments. We grant wishes to children with chronic life threatening illnesses who live in the state of Alabama. I have babysat and/or worked in a childcare setting since I was 15 years old caring for a wide variety of children. The youngest being just 3 weeks old. I think it is so important that you have a sitter who is active and engaged with your children and I am just that person. I love playing outside and really getting to build relationships with the children and families I babysit for. I am happy to help with homework or house work (laundry, cleaning, dishes, etc) as well. I will be attending the University of Mississippi Medical Center this fall to get my master’s in Biomedical Sciences. I was raised in Brandon, MS. I aspire to attend medical school and become an OBGYN upon graduation. I love children, and in New Orleans, I volunteered in the Mother/Baby department at Tulane’s Lakeside Hospital. I got the chance to monitor newborns and comfort new moms. I often watch my cousins and babysit for multiple family friends. I’m a mom to a 4 year old Goldendoodle.
