I am originally from Montana and have been babysitting since I was 14. In college I babysat for families occasionally and am currently a full time nanny! I love building forts, doing arts and crafts, dancing, and playing outside with the kids I watched. I have experience with most age groups and worked with developmentally delayed children in a preschool setting during college.

I have worked in childcare for 15+ years. I worked at two licensed preschools from 2012-2019 and a licensed daycare in 2022. I have worked with several students with unique or special needs. Over the years I have completed hours of trainings and certifications related to education and childcare. I complete my infant and child CPR and first aid certification through Bighorn Fire Academy and it is currently valid. Over the past couple years I have worked as a nanny and babysitter while I finished my degree in biology from Montana State.

As a nanny, I am responsible for providing nurturing care to the child while understanding and tending to his or her physical and emotional needs to encourage a happy and healthy mindset. Over the years, I have gained the ability to cope with unexpected situations, stay calm under pressure, and multitask efficiently all while making close and trusting relationships with the families. With my interest in children and childhood development I try to maintain a good imagination to plan activities that are fun and aid with growth. My time spent with children has given me a better sense of communication, even with adults, because the children are using me as an example to create their own building blocks to be successful in life. I love teaching and watching the children around me learn, as well as grow, as young individuals. This combined with the opportunity to be a positive role model in their lives is very rewarding to me.
