I am 18 years old, I just graduated high school and will be spending a year at NCMC, then transferring to GVSU! I love working with kids and am going into the children’s wellness social work field! It melted my heart! The most important part of being a nanny in my opinion is having a great relationship with the children as well as the parents. Being able to have trust, respect, and support for all parties is very important when it comes to allowing someone to watch and keep children safe.

I have three children, ages 20, 23, and 25.I have worked as a "lunch lady" at the local middle school for the past three years.Prior to that I worked at an assisted living facility for eight years.This has allowed me flexibility to raise my children, especially my son who is autistic and does not yet have his driver's license. I have a master's degree in Teaching and Learning, and an undergraduate degree in Social Work.I was out of the work force for many years in order to raise my children so am not currently certified in teaching, but did get a degree from the University of Southern Maine to teach grades K-8, prior to the birth of my first child in 1999. I have worked in a preschool as well as a primary school over the years.My current job hours are 7am-1:30pm, which would allow me to be available for after school care. I absolutely love children and babies and miss having little ones around.I would love to find a position with consistent hours and some flexibility.
