Hi!My name is Alice and I have a long history of working with children. My mother ran an in home day care program and I grew up taking care of toddlers and babies. I have also been caring for children outside of my mom's practice since I was eleven and have had the pleasure of getting to work with a unique group of great children.I have experience working with infants from the age of one month old to children twelve years old. Each age brings its own unique and wonderful experiences and I love working with children of all ages.Beyond taking care of children, I have worked as a lifeguard and have training in CPR and first aid. I have a bachelors and masters in history and am currently working toward a sociology PhD which focuses of childhood mental health and resiliency. Kristi graduated from Portland State University with a Bachelors in Speech and Hearing Science in 2008. She was a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant from 2009-2013. She was born and raised in Northern NY, and in just recently moved to Durham from Denver CO with her husband. She loves to cook for family and friends and enjoys relaxing on her front porch with a good book!
