I first began working with children as a junior camp counselor for the YMCA. I was responsible for keeping constant head counts, ensuring camper safety, supervising and organizing activities, providing swimming lessons to campers etc. I also have camp experience working with the South Orange Recreational camp where I had the same responsibilities outside of providing swim lessons. I am in the process of receiving my child/adult CPR / AED & First Aid certification with Red Cross. I also have private babysitting experience with two different families. For one of the families, I was responsible for cooking for their son. Playing different games with him and helping him expand both his ELA and math knowledge. The other family, I was responsible for working with a child with Intellectual Development Disabilities. I was required to administer the medicine for her autism, bathe her, feed her, and keep her entertained throughout the day. As well as working through any breakdowns when needed.

Experience in ages 9 weeks - 14 years old. Previous YMCA Summer Camp Counselor. Danced competitively for 5 years on a team of all ages (assistanted in multiple hip hop classes, ages 8-12).I’m looking for a way to financially support myself while I’m a full time student at Temple University. Im an upcoming freshman, studying psychology. What makes me a good fit as a babysitter/nanny is the fact I’m a child at heart. I am a huge Disney Frozen fan! I love to dance, sing, and craft. The time I spent dancing, on a team of all ages, built my team working skills and patience. My goal is have fun while teaching life lessons along the way!

Hello everyone! I am Stephanie and I have just graduated from college with a Bachelors in Sociology! My experience with children has ranged from hired babysitting to working with larger groups of children in the public school system for over 3 years now. Being able to be a positive influence in a child’s life (even just a little) is so fulfilling and is something I want to continue as a career. I would love to help your family out even just a little because it really does take a village, and thank you!

I first started babysitting in high school when my neighbors needed someone to care for their four-month-old baby and three-year-old on short notice. I expected it to be challenging, but by the end, they told me I was the best babysitter they had ever had. Knowing that the children in my care feel safe, comfortable, and happy is what matters most to me. Since then, I have babysat for families throughout my township and have experience caring for children from four months to 12 years old. I am CPR and First Aid certified through the American Red Cross, so I am prepared to respond calmly and responsibly in an emergency. I am also a woman in STEM, and in college I volunteered to teach middle school girls about STEM fields through fun, age-appropriate activities. I am patient, attentive, dependable, and always make each child’s safety and well-being my priority.
