About Emily

I first started babysitting in high school when my neighbors needed someone to care for their four-month-old baby and three-year-old on short notice. I expected it to be challenging, but by the end, they told me I was the best babysitter they had ever had. Knowing that the children in my care feel safe, comfortable, and happy is what matters most to me. Since then, I have babysat for families throughout my township and have experience caring for children from four months to 12 years old. I am CPR and First Aid certified through the American Red Cross, so I am prepared to respond calmly and responsibly in an emergency. I am also a woman in STEM, and in college I volunteered to teach middle school girls about STEM fields through fun, age-appropriate activities. I am patient, attentive, dependable, and always make each child’s safety and well-being my priority.
