About Maya

I’m an experienced early childhood educator and nanny with over four years of professional childcare experience caring for children from infancy through preschool. I currently serve as a Lead Teacher in a one-year-old classroom, where I create engaging, developmentally appropriate activities that encourage curiosity, independence, and social-emotional growth. Before teaching, I was a full-time nanny for a wonderful family in Brooklyn, caring for their daughter from infancy through toddlerhood. I love creating safe, nurturing environments where children can learn through play, exploration, music, reading, sensory experiences, and outdoor adventures. Families describe me as dependable, patient, energetic, and communicative, and I take pride in building trusting relationships with both children and parents. I’m CPR and First Aid certified and passionate about helping children reach each developmental milestone while making every day fun and meaningful.
