Hello! I’m Alexandria, I’m 20 years old and am currently pursuing a bachelor’s in business and theater arts with a spanish minor. I am very friendly, attentive, and careful when caring for children. I have experience for more than 5 years and have taken care of children from just a few weeks to 12 years of age. It started with my mom’s licensed at home daycare, Tick Tock Around the Clock in Waterbury, CT , where I was a child educator and administrative assistant taking care of the children providing a nurturing, safe and supportive environment. I had the chance to teach children proper hygiene, cleanliness (such as washing hands properly and cleaning up after themselves), basic k-5 curriculum activities and resolved conflict between children with patience and care. I genuinely love being with kids as they always put a smile on my face and being able to take care of them. As the third oldest in the family I have also taken care of my younger siblings as well and my now 1 year old nephew. I know how to change diapers, cook meals for children, put them to bed, help with homework and more! I am also CPR/AED/First Aid certified for children and adults as well. I know how important it is to make sure you’re putting your children in the hands of someone safe and I’d like to be that person for you and help your child grow!
