My name is Cassandra, but I prefer to go by Cassie. I recently moved to Platteville.I am 23 years old and have a deep passion for caring for others, which is rooted in my life experiences. Growing up in a household with a mother who ran a daycare, I developed a love for working with children early on. This foundation led me to take care of my nieces and nephews, allowing me to gain invaluable experience in nurturing and education.In high school, I completed a childcare course that equipped me with essential skills, including first aid and CPR. I took great pride in supporting children with disabilities, and one of my most rewarding experiences was helping a non-verbal student find his voice and express his feelings.During my senior year, I earned my CNA license at Western Technical College and gained hands-on experience working in a nursing home. Although I briefly pursued nursing in college, I ultimately discovered a different calling as a Direct Support Professional (DSP). In this role, I provided high-acuity care to adults with disabilities, further enhancing my CPR and first aid skills.My commitment to caregiving extends beyond my professional life. I have been a key support for my family, particularly for my sister’s child with a disability, as well as caring for my younger nieces and nephews. These diverse experiences across all age groups reflect my adaptability and dedication to improving the lives of those around me.Outside of work, I enjoy painting, drawing, and spending time outdoors with my dog, Remington . I value family and community and continually seek ways to make a positive impact in the lives of others.

I am currently enrolled in online college and looking to work a second job! I taught golf to a variety of age groups in high school & after. Excited to hopefully start a new chapter and career path.
