Caring for children has been the center of my life for over 27 years, and I genuinely enjoy helping kids learn, grow, and have fun in a safe and nurturing environment.As the parent of a child with Type 1 diabetes, I have extensive firsthand experience managing diabetes care, including blood sugar monitoring, insulin administration, carbohydrate counting, and recognizing and responding to hypoglycemic and hyperglycemic events.I hold an Associate's Degree in Health Science and a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology. I worked in the Emergency Room for seven years and am BLS certified, giving me a strong background in health, safety, and emergency response.In addition, I've coached youth soccer and enjoy encouraging children to stay active, build confidence, and develop positive relationships. I currently work remotely for Oregon Institute of Technology with a flexible schedule, allowing me to provide dependable childcare for families needing occasional, part-time, or regular care.I am patient, responsible, dependable, and committed to providing a safe, engaging, and caring environment where children feel comfortable, supported, and valued.
