I've been babysitting for over five years, working with kids from newborns to pre-teens. For the past 5 years babysitting has been my primary source of income, so I’ve gained plenty of knowledge in experience in working with kids. During my senior year of high school, I worked as the head instructor for an aftercare program, where I managed a group of 15 kindergarteners. This responsibility taught me how to be a more patient, and reliable babysitter, while also improving my communication skills between parents and staff. This past year I also worked as a part time nanny, where I transported two kids to and from school everyday, and provided them care and supervision whenever needed. I attended the University of Alabama for my undergraduate education and got a degree in kinesiology with a minor in psychology. While in Tuscaloosa I worked at a daycare with children ranging from 0-5. Through babysitting and summer camps I have worked with children up to 18. I have spent years (since I was 14 when I started volunteering at YMCA) caring for children from the ages of infant to 17 years old! My experience ranges from babysitting to summer camp to daycare teacher to youth pastor to travel nanny/live-in nanny to Foster Care Family Teacher! I recently graduated with my bachelor's degree in Ministerial Leadership and Biblical Studies from Southeastern University. Hi! My name is Lauren but my friends and family call me Lolo🥰 I am finishing my last semester of college at UCF and I completed my Bachelor’s Degree in Health Sciences at FGCU last May. I was a student athlete and I played volleyball which was an amazing experience I wouldn’t trade for the world. I am now training to play professionally so I love to stay active. In the future, I aspire to be a Nutritionist and work with athletes to help them fuel their bodies properly and play at their full potential. In my free time I like to go to the beach, travel, try new foods, stay active, and spend time with my family and friends. I have a very loving and supporting family. I have seven siblings and three of them are younger so I have helped take care of them growing up. Since I was little I have always been a nurturing person and I hope to be a mom one day. I have helped work volleyball summer camps for the past 5 years and have really enjoyed mentoring young athletes. I worked full time at the Growing Room Preschool/Daycare last Spring for 4 months while I finished my degree and I really enjoyed working there. I worked with all age groups from infants to pre-k children.
