Hi, I am Ruddy! (Lisa) preferred name. A little about me. I am expirenced working with children, primarily kids with special needs. I worked for New York City Department of Education for five years as a Paraprofessional. I currently hold an Associate degrees in Early Childhood Education from Bronx Community College. I am also currently four classes away from obtaining my Bachelors in Psychology. I love working with children and seeing their eyes light up when they discover something new. Hi!My name is Mackenzie, I've been a professional nanny for 6 years and I've also worked at camps and church daycares! I am currently a junior in college hoping to obtain a psychology degree and open my own practice helping adults and children!My caregiving skills follow along the lines of gentle parenting and baby/child-led. I like to get into the mind and on the level of the child to ensure that I am meeting their need in the kindest and safest way, for example, if a toddler makes an accident, I like to help them learn from it in a digestible manner, I gently explain what happened and allow them to take the lead in cleaning while also helping if it's a big mess or an unsafe object!
