I have several years of experience working with children of different ages through both paid babysitting and volunteer leadership roles. During high school, I worked as a babysitter for a family with three children ranging from 6 months old to 11 years old. I cared for the children for about a year, helping with daily routines, supervision, and creating a safe and positive environment. In addition, I spent 3–4 years running my high school’s Best Buddies program, which supports students with intellectual disabilities and encourages social involvement. In this role, I planned activities, organized events, and helped create inclusive experiences for students while developing strong communication, leadership, and caregiving skills. I also currently work as a Certified Nursing Assistant in an assisted living facility, where I have experience caring for elderly adults, including residents with Alzheimer’s and dementia. This role has strengthened my patience, attentiveness, and ability to provide compassionate care in a safe and supportive environment. Outside of school and work, I enjoy cooking and baking, which have been hobbies of mine for most of my life. I also love reading, and I am currently reading Jane Eyre by Charlotte Brontë.
