Hi my name is Britney. I am 26 years old college student. I began my babysitting career when I was 12, at my church where I volunteered in the nursery. Our church had a lot of young children so I had the opportunity to take care of children of many ages. While I was in high school, I babysat two young girls several times a week and I took care of a young boy a few times a month. When I finished high school, I traveled to France where I was an Au Pair for a two year old girl for 10 months. I also was an Au Pair in Australia for twin 8 month old boys. I am certified in Adult/Pediatric First Aid,CPR and AED-BL. I have always enjoyed taking care of children and I would love the opportunity to take care of yours. I have a passion for early childhood development and education, teaching and building relationships with children (new born -17). I have worked as a disability specialist, teacher assistant, elementary and middle school librarian, baby sitter/nanny, lifeguard, and swim coach. My all time favorite job is being mother and teacher to my two beautiful kids! I have two children (age 5 and 9) whom I homeschool. We are always active in sports or educational opportunities in and around the triangle! We travel part of the year but usually have 6 months stints we are in Durham and would love to be able to help other families and build other relationships with other kids together with ours which is why we have the ability to seek opportunities I could assist your family while bringing my kids along. They are both very independent and do a lot on their own and enjoy spending time with others both younger and older than them! We hold memberships at many places and enjoy staying out and busy!
