About Haley

Hi! My name is Haley, and I’m currently attending graduate school to become a Clinical Mental Health Counselor. I’ve been babysitting since I was 12 years old and have experience caring for children of all ages, from infants to middle schoolers. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to work with children with a variety of needs and personalities, including children with special needs and disabilities. I also have approximately two years of experience providing ABA therapy, which has given me additional experience supporting children’s communication, behavior, development, and individual needs. I truly enjoy working with kids and love creating a safe, fun, and supportive environment where they can be themselves. I’m comfortable keeping children entertained through play, activities, crafts, and outdoor adventures, while also helping with routines, homework, meals, and bedtime. My experience in both childcare and mental health counseling has taught me the importance of patience, understanding, communication, and meeting each child where they are.
