About Greta

Hi! My name is Greta H, and I’m 27 years old. I graduated from the University of Wisconsin–La Crosse in 2022 with a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education. After graduating, I taught first grade for two years before transitioning into my current role as a full-time Division III college volleyball coach. Working with children has always been a big part of my life. I began nannying at 16 and have held several long-term nanny positions over the years, caring for children ranging from newborns to 12 years old. I also have previous experience working in a daycare setting, in addition to my background as an elementary school teacher. I come from a big family, so being around children has always felt very natural to me. I genuinely love working with kids, building relationships with them, and finding fun and creative ways to keep them active and engaged. My current coaching position provides me with some flexibility, and I would love the opportunity to continue working with children outside of the traditional classroom setting. With my education background, I’m also comfortable incorporating age-appropriate learning activities, routines, and educational support when desired. In addition to childcare, I have experience with meal preparation, laundry, and light household tasks. I also have reliable transportation and am comfortable helping with transportation to activities, practices, or other outings as needed. Most importantly, I’m hoping to find a family that I can build a genuine, long-term relationship with and eventually feel like a second family to me.
