Hi! My name is Kailee O’Gorman and I am a Junior in the nursing program at UWEC. My hometown is in Shorewood, IL, but currently live in Altoona, WI. I have been baby sitting since I could drive at 16. I have experience with ages from 3 months all the way up to 15 years of age. Growing up, me and my brother had some of the best baby sitters which has also taught me a lot. I have 2 different licenses for CPR certification- one for newborn to school aged kids and the BLS certification for professional medical settings. I am also first aid certified and have my CNA license. With also being in nursing school, I have medical knowledge and experience of what to do in certain situations. My class schedule this fall semester includes: Thursdays 8am-1:20pm and Fridays 8am-10am. I’m someone who takes safety and responsibility seriously, while still making sure the kids have a great time. I love doing crafts, playing games, getting outside, reading, and finding activities that match each child’s personality and interests while getting to spark their creativity. I am also able to help with homework, school activities, transportation, and cleaning up. I’d love the opportunity to get to know your family!
