About Mary

Hello! I have always been passionate about childcare, and I aim to support families by offering dependable care. My approach is creative and friendly. I enjoy playing games, making art & crafts, and engaging in educational activities with children. I have a year and a half of experience caring for multiple children at a time in a childcare center and babysitting. I worked mostly with infants and toddlers at the center. I also have five years of experience as a certified nursing assistant at a nursing home. I am comfortable enforcing household rules. I communicate with parents at transitional periods and adhere to their preferred methods of communication. I have a bachelor's degree in psychology and am currently pursuing my master's degree in art therapy through an online institution. I hold First Aid Training, CPR Training, and Certified Nursing Assistant certifications. I am also conversational in American Sign Language and was an assistant teacher for a beginner's ASL class for one year. I am happy to assist with cooking, meal preparation, housekeeping, and pet care. I look forward to bringing my enthusiasm and skills to your family.
