About Maria

Hi! My name is Maria, and I genuinely enjoy caring for children and creating a safe, fun, and supportive environment where they can learn, play, and feel comfortable. I’ve cared for children of all ages, from infants to preteens, by babysitting for family friends and helping care for my youngest sister-in-law, who is currently 4 years old. Through these experiences, I’ve learned that every child is unique, and I enjoy getting to know their individual personalities, interests, and needs. I’m happy to help with diaper changes, feeding, preparing light meals and snacks, engaging in creative and educational activities, reading stories, helping with homework, and keeping children entertained while maintaining a safe and structured environment. I also enjoy teaching basic Spanish through fun, everyday conversations and activities for families who are interested in introducing a second language to their children. One of the things I value most is making sure children feel heard, supported, and cared for. I’m patient, attentive, and always do my best to encourage their emotional and social growth with kindness and positive reinforcement. I also believe parents deserve peace of mind, so I make communication a priority by keeping you updated on your child’s day and letting you know about any concerns or changes in behavior. Having helped raise my younger brother, I understand that caring for children takes patience, consistency, and lots of love. I also know how busy life can be, and how valuable it is to have someone you can trust with your little ones. My goal is to be someone your family can rely on while creating a warm, caring, and positive environment where your child feels safe, happy, and excited to spend time.
