About Samara

I currently work in brain cancer research at Wake Forest Baptist, and I am excited to start helping out parents in the Winston-Salem area. While new to professional child care, I have experience babysitting for my neighbor in high school and college (2016-2020). They have 3 children that, at the start of our time together, ranged from 1 to 9 years old. I am confident in my ability to engage children in enriching activities, help with meals and homework, as well as nighttime routines. I have my own car and have driven children I babysat for to after-school activities and extracurriculars. I will be CPR + First Aid certified as of June 14th. I love making sure that kids have all the individual and personalized attention they need when a parent is unable to be around, while also easing some of the weight that parents experience of not having enough hours in the day by helping out around your home as needed. I'm looking forward to supporting your family's needs!
