Hi! I am Tammy, a dedicated and compassionate caregiver with a heart for children of all ages. I am a licensed clinician with over 20 years of experience working with children and families in both clinical and community settings. For the past 10 years, I have provided psychotherapy services to children ages six months and older. Prior to my clinical work, I owned and operated a residential childcare center for five years, which gave me a strong foundation in child development, daily routines, and creating safe, supportive environments. I am also the mother of a 16 year old son with autism, which has deepened my understanding of patience, flexibility, and individualized support. He is largely self sufficient, allowing me to fully focus on my professional responsibilities while still honoring the importance of family balance. This lived experience allows me to work comfortably with children of all abilities and developmental stages. My approach is warm, attentive, and strength focused. I prioritize building trust with children and families, supporting each child at their own pace, and creating positive, engaging experiences. Whether helping with homework, maintaining routines, or providing attentive care, I bring a calm and nurturing presence to every role.
