About Andrea

I have experience caring for children through both paid babysitting and youth mentorship. As a babysitter, I create a safe, engaging, and supportive environment by supervising daily routines, preparing simple meals and snacks, helping with homework, organizing age-appropriate activities, and maintaining open communication with parents. In addition to babysitting, I served as a Program Intern with Latinitas, where I worked directly with elementary school students in educational settings. I helped facilitate hands-on activities, encouraged creativity and learning, supported students as they built confidence in new skills, and helped create a positive, welcoming environment where every child felt included. This experience strengthened my communication, patience, and ability to connect with children of different personalities and needs. I am dependable, responsible, and committed to making sure every child feels safe, respected, and has fun while in my care.
