About Nya

Hi! I’m Nya, a student at the University of North Texas with a genuine passion for working with children. Caring for kids has always come naturally to me, and I know how important it is for parents to have someone they can trust. I love creating a safe, fun, and nurturing environment where children feel supported and encouraged to learn and grow. I’ve been a nanny for over 3 years, babysat for around 2 years, and participated in a teaching program for 2 years. In addition to my professional experience, I also helped care for my younger siblings growing up, which gave me even more hands-on experience with children of different ages. I especially enjoy working with infants, toddlers, and young children and love being part of their daily routines and milestones. My strengths are patience, responsibility, and communication. I always strive to be dependable, positive, and easy to communicate with. I’m CPR certified, have reliable transportation, can provide references upon request, and I’m happy to help with homework, meal prep, light housekeeping, school pick-ups, and fun, age-appropriate activities. As a UNT student, I’m looking to build lasting relationships with families and become someone they can truly rely on.
