Hello! My name is Kayla P, and I’m a 24 year old dedicated childcare professional originally from Dermott, Arkansas. My passion for caregiving began early, my mother ran a home daycare, and from the age of 16 I supported her daily. Those formative years taught me the foundations of nurturing care, child development, and the importance of showing up for families with consistency, patience, and heart. What started as helping my mother quickly grew into a lifelong calling. For the past three years, I’ve proudly served families throughout the Fort Worth area. During this time, I spent two years working with the Yeh family, beginning when their son was just nine months old. I supported every stage of his growth from potty training to daily Montessori based learning, extensive reading, sensory exploration, and emotional development. I remained fully present and intentional, ensuring each day was structured, enriching, and tailored to his developmental needs. When the family welcomed their second child, I continued my role through their postpartum period, offering newborn support, stability, and a calm, reliable presence during a major transition. Since departing from the Yeh family in June 2026, I’ve worked cohesively with two additional newborn families, providing specialized infant care, developmental guidance, and consistent support. My caregiving style is rooted in creating safe, nurturing, and engaging environments where children feel valued, understood, and encouraged to explore confidently. I prioritize connection, hands on learning, and intentional routines that support creativity, emotional growth, and independence. Outside of childcare, I enjoy cooking, traveling, spending time with my dog, and fishing. I’m also committed to my long term professional goals - becoming a doula and eventually opening my own childcare center. I am currently seeking a new long term position in Fort Worth where I can continue offering dependable, heartfelt care.
