About Jamelah

Hi, I’m Jamelah! 😊 I’m currently finishing my Master’s in Social Work and entering my clinical year. I’m transitioning out of a traditional 8–5 schedule so I can have more flexibility while I finish school, and I’d love to spend that time doing something I genuinely enjoy, working with children and supporting families. I’ve always had a heart for kids! I have experience working at Kirkland Children’s School, a play-based preschool, supporting my mom working in the children’s ministry at my church as well as caring for my younger cousins and helping with children in my family. I’m patient, dependable, nurturing, and attentive, and I love creating a safe, fun environment where children can feel comfortable, supported, and free to be themselves. I enjoy outdoor activities, imaginative play, reading, crafts, helping with homework, and keeping little ones engaged throughout the day. I’m also a big animal lover and am very comfortable around pets! My husband and I hope to start our own family in the next few years, which has made this season especially meaningful to me. I’d love the opportunity to build a trusting relationship with your family and be someone you feel completely comfortable relying on to care for your little ones. ❤️
