About Lorena

Hi! I’m a senior at Austin College with several years of childcare experience working with children of different ages, from toddlers to teenagers. For two summers, I cared for a toddler, helping with meal preparation, nap schedules, bath time, play activities, and maintaining a safe, nurturing environment throughout the day. I currently provide nannying and tutoring support for a middle school student, including school drop-offs and pick-ups, homework assistance, tutoring, meal preparation, and supervising after-school activities. I have also worked with a high school student, providing transportation to activities, helping with meals, and offering encouragement and support in her daily routines. In addition to childcare, I help care for my grandmother alongside my mother, which has strengthened my patience, responsibility, and ability to provide attentive care to others. I am BLS certified and committed to creating a safe, dependable, and positive environment for every family I work with. I enjoy building meaningful relationships with children and helping them learn, grow, and feel supported. I look forward to the opportunity to work with your family!
