About Grace

I have a passion for working with children and want to make a career out of it! I have a lot of experience with all ages. I have been volunteering at my church in the children’s ministry since I was in middle school. I worked with children from infancy through elementary ages. I spent the summer of 2024 nannying for an infant (started at 2 months of age). While I am at school I have a job working for an elementary after school care program. I do my best to limit screen time and get children engaged with their environment! Finding fun activities, reading books, and singing songs are a few of the ways I do that. I strive to help get young minds working and to make a difference in the lives of those around me. I am currently enrolled at Abilene Christian University where I have taken classes in child development from birth to the age of eighteen, as well as a developmental psychology class. I have also taken several family studies classes, a therapeutic play class, sociology 101, and a few social work class while enrolled in college.
