Hi! I’m Kate 😊 I’m a first-grade teacher here in Charleston and have been teaching since 2022, with experience in kindergarten through fourth grade. I’m a proud graduate of the University of Memphis and am currently certified in early childhood education, elementary education, and special education. I’ve been babysitting since I was 16 and have also worked as a summer camp counselor and in a Pre-K after-school program. I truly love working with kids, whether that means helping with homework and tutoring, getting creative with arts and crafts, cooking simple meals, managing nap time, or taking them to fun activities and events. I’m calm, reliable, and very patient (teacher life definitely helps with that!). Since I teach full-time, I’m looking for part-time opportunities in the evenings after 3pm, on weekends, and during school holidays. I’d love to chat and get to know your family.
