My name is Claire, and I’m currently a college student at Lipscomb University in Nashville, Tennessee, studying Marketing. I have always loved working with kids and have many years of experience caring for children of all different ages! I started babysitting independently when I was 13 years old and have experience caring for families with up to five children at once. Over the years, I’ve worked with children of a variety of ages and personalities, which has taught me how to adapt to each child’s individual needs while creating a fun, safe, and positive environment. I also spent four years interning at my church, where I regularly provided childcare for children ranging from 5 months to 13 years old. Through this experience, I gained valuable skills in caring for infants, toddlers, and older children, as well as managing groups of kids, planning activities, and handling different situations with patience and responsibility. In addition to independently babysitting and working at my church, I worked with Busy Bees Babysitting in Phoenix, Arizona, before moving to Nashville for college. This gave me even more opportunities to work with different families, build relationships with children, and develop my childcare skills. I would describe myself as responsible, dependable, patient, and outgoing. I love getting to know each child's personality and interests, whether that means doing crafts, playing games, spending time outside, helping with homework, or coming up with creative activities. I also understand how important it is for parents to feel confident that their children are in good hands, so communication, safety, and reliability are always priorities for me.
