About Naxya

Hi! My name is Na’Xya, and I have over four years of professional childcare experience working with children of different ages, including experience as a Lead Teacher and Infant Lead Teacher. Childcare has been a big part of my life, and I genuinely enjoy creating a safe, loving, and fun environment where children can feel comfortable being themselves. Through my experience in childcare centers, I’ve cared for children throughout their daily routines, including meals, naps, playtime, learning activities, outdoor time, and transitions. I’m comfortable caring for infants and younger children and understand the patience, attention, and consistency they need. I also enjoy planning age-appropriate activities, reading, arts and crafts, imaginative play, and other activities that keep children engaged while supporting their development. As a Lead Teacher, I’ve been responsible for maintaining a safe and organized classroom, managing routines, supporting positive behavior, communicating with families, and making sure each child’s individual needs are met. This experience has taught me how important it is to be patient, dependable, attentive, and adaptable because every child is different. I am CPR/AED certified through July 2028 and have training in child and adult CPR, choking emergencies, diabetic emergencies, and recognizing signs of a stroke. Safety is always one of my top priorities when caring for children. I would describe myself as caring, responsible, patient, energetic, and trustworthy. I know how important it is for parents to feel comfortable with the person caring for their children, so I always try to follow each family’s routines, expectations, and preferences. Whether we’re playing, learning, completing a bedtime routine, or simply having a relaxing day at home, my goal is to make sure your child feels safe, happy, and cared for while you’re away!
